Astrology: Spring Equinox, March 20, 2026- Part 2 - Chart

With the astrological cycle re-boot as the Sun enters dynamic Aries, as Mercury goes  direct, a recent new moon on the 18th, a bold, upbeat Mars trine Jupiter on the 21st, with five planets in Aries, and the Sun conjunct the apex of the Neptune-Pluto-Uranus magic triangle, Spring is arriving with quite a kick.

1- Mercury/Mars conjunct Jupiter

Mercury conjunct Mars in Pisces (Mar 15). This is a good energy for debate or energetic mental work. We may be called upon to make a decision, but it may be a hasty, ill-considered one. We may be argumentative and irritable under this influence, and particularly impatient with vagueness.

Mars trine Jupiter in Cancer (Mar 21). Decisive action comes naturally now. We possess willpower, verve, and energy that we can direct toward achieving our goals. Success in contracts, negotiations, and business deals comes easily. We want to branch out and take on more challenges.

Mercury trine Jupiter. Looking for meaning in mundane affairs, positive thinking, insights, cooperation–these are themes of this influence. Our ideas are big and our intentions noble. This transit favors short trips, writing, teaching, studying, submitting applications and forms, accurate diagnoses and observations (all things equal).

2- Sun/Saturn/Neptune-Pluto-Uranus minor grand trine

Sun conjunct Saturn in Aries. feel the constraints of time and are motivated by the desire to manifest tangible results. It’s “nose to the grindstone” time. However, making new commitments to old goals, shouldering responsibilities, and making careful use of our resources could feed our need for structure and order in our lives.

Sun conjunct Neptune in Aries. We are extremely sensitive to the moods and undercurrents around us. e may have a hard time defining our actions and our goals, perhaps losing sight of reality and reason. Flexible morals. Increased spiritual awareness, imagination, and inspiration.

Sun sextile Uranus in Taurus (Mar 18). We are willing to adapt to new circumstances, ideas, and unfamiliar situations. It’s a good time to join organizations and groups and to attend meetings or social events, as these can be enlightening. We can find creative solutions to problems now and effect positive changes.

Sun sextile Pluto in Aquarius. Research brings rewards. We benefit now from strategy and keeping things to ourselves for the time being. Opportunities to find or renew something we had lost, and to gain some power are available now.

A period of potential revolution, innovation and reform in socio-political structures focused on the environment and finance. Deep psychological insight facilitating social progress, idealistic values and spiritual awakening are favoured.

3- Moon/Venus square Jupiter

Moon conjunct Venus in Aries. This is an affectionate and friendly influence–not wild or exciting, but pleasing and perhaps a little self-indulgent. Your personal popularity moves up a notch. Being pampered and pampering are desires, and anything that brings more beauty and harmony to your life is favored.

Venus square Jupiter (Mar 18). Feelings of elation in love or with regards to the pleasures of life can lead us to overdo, overindulge, overspend, and overstate our feelings. Avoid hasty (or haughty!) decisions. We might take great strides to get noticed. Avoid impulsive buying. We may also feel lazy and we are inclined to procrastinate.

Moon square Jupiter You may be feeling less hopeful or optimistic during this brief transit. On the contrary, you could be feeling over-confident or enthusiastic to the point of over-excitement and potential letdown. The bottom line is that you are not especially realistic due to moodiness. Self-indulgence is more likely now.

Sun in Aries A new sense of self, a more assertive personal style, a more dynamic approach to life: 

Mercury  in Pisces from February 6-April 14. When Mercury is in Pisces, our thinking processes are more visual, intuitive, and imaginative. We are especially attuned to the world of emotion, which colors both our thoughts and our communication style.

Venus in Aries  March 6-30. we gravitate to Aries-like activities, pleasures, pastimes, and objects of interest. Our tastes can veer toward action, new enterprise, conquests, courageous or daring acts, and so forth. We can be somewhat impulsive with our money or entertainment choices.

Mars is in Pisces from March 2-April 9. Compassion drives us while Mars is in Pisces. We can be chameleons, adapting to the current situation quite expertly, although we can also be escape artists, preferring to avoid rather than confront.

Jupiter in Cancer Self care, security, setting down roots, establishing your ties with the past; often a sign of growth in all things connected with family and property.

Saturn in Aries You are resourceful, and capable of applying new methods in a practical manner. Your lessons are in patience and self-reliance.

Uranus in Taurus We approach money and personal possessions in new ways and learn how to free ourselves from certain material constraints.

Neptune in Aries the potential to be spiritual pioneers. They take risks in exploring the mystical realms. This generation may also boast many pioneers in the arts.
