Astrology: Uranus in Gemini, July 7, 2025

Uranus is in Gemini from July 7, 2025 to November 7, 2025. Uranus will be in Gemini again later, from April 25, 2026, to August 3, 2032, and then from December 12, 2032, to May 22, 2033.

Uranus spends about 7-8 years in a sign. The range for Gemini is 2025 to 2033 with some transition periods between Taurus and Gemini and then Gemini and Cancer.

In Gemini, Uranus revolutionizes the ways we communicate, connect, learn, and teach.

It’s not a cycle that happens very often! In fact, the last time Uranus was in Gemini was from 1941 to 1949 (Aug  7 to October 4, 1941; May 15, 1942 to Aug 30, 1948; and  November 12, 1948 to June 10, 1949).

Through the vibrations of Uranus, we are inventive, intuitive, and perceptive, and we’re unbound to tradition, allowing us to make progress. Uranus can bring sudden changes, shocking news or events, estrangements, changes of fortune, progress, new orders, and accidents. In Gemini, Uranus is stirring up our ideas, learning, and communications. It revolutionizes our transportation and communication systems and sense of connectedness. There can be great progress and unpredictability.

During this 7 to 8-year cycle, learning and education can be disrupted, dramatically changed, or non-traditional. It’s a time that demands adaptability and open-mindedness. Information bites rather than chunks can be prevalent, and our communication styles, especially the ways we extend gestures and pleasantries, can change dramatically. Ideas can spread very quickly and create dramatic change during this period. There can be more movement, migration, and busy-ness in general. Sudden changes in alliances can occur, along with disruptions in friend groups. Revolutions regarding air quality can be a much-needed revelation.

It can also be a time when we’re moving toward more gender neutrality, particularly in our communications. Fashion can become more non-gendered. Our relationships with siblings and neighbors can undergo a change. In education, there can be more of a thrust toward inventiveness and creativity or intuition. Changes or advances in our experiences of short journeys can be remarkable.
Labor-saving devices and revolutionizing what and how we read, exchange and disseminate information, trade, transit, transport goods, surveil, track, and learn can continue to develop, surprise, disrupt, and advance. Uranus brings strong themes of curiosity and interest.

Staying open to change, being young at heart, and being flexible can be in vogue. It’s a period of significant changes in social discourse and the seeking of freedom in and through communications and education. We’re breaking through inhibitions or taboos related to sharing ideas, education, and communications. Using words to shock or rebel comes naturally. We may lack follow-through, focus, and concentration. Nervous energy can also be extreme. It can be a time of liberation as well as disruption.

First, let's look at how Uranus in Gemini opens our minds. We will learn to speak, write, and connect in new ways. And we have a new mirror, the mirror of artificial intelligence (AI), as well as the neuronal patterning of screens and smartphones, which has already shaped at least one generation. The way we awaken to the world and how we see, understand, and make sense of things will be accelerated. New capacities will be developed, and it’s possible a whole new system of education will be designed during this period, overhauling older structures and systems.

Education could see vast reforms, with more options or new ideas on how best to learn. How we communicate could mean abandoning social media for new forms of connection or utilizing far-out technology to send messages to each other. New forms of literature could shake up the publishing industry. Significant changes to neighborhoods might show up as gentrification, communal living, or updated infrastructure. Because Uranus takes about seven years to move through a sign, we might not see these changes until we’re halfway through this period. The best attitude is one of flexibility as things begin to take shape.

The last two times Uranus was in Gemini coincided with war, including the Civil War (1861 to 1865) and World War II (1941 to 1945). Does this mean we might experience something like that? Not necessarily. However, it’s possible we could be forced to deal with ongoing disinformation campaigns via social media or technological warfare, such as cyber attacks. Uranus is the rebel planet, so the collective might be ready for revolution, which could come through unions, class consciousness, and cultural change.
The status quo might fall out of favor and get the heave-ho. Considering that Pluto, the planet of transformation, is in Aquarius, a new, inclusive world may be made possible. This will not come without conflict. Instead, we must be ready to push back and fight for our ideals.

Scientific and technical discoveries will be unveiled and much relied-upon over the next seven years that may be revealed as overrated, misjudged, or even dangerous in hindsight. Nevertheless, the brilliance of it all dazzles everybody, and eye and mind appeal overcome gut reluctance. The result will be new tools, and afterwards the wisdom of how to use them.

Astrology: Summer Solstice, June 20, 2025- Part 2 - Chart

Moonshadow

With a very intense lead-in to the Summer Solstice with the Air India plane crash with 270 casualties, major immigration protest crackdowns in Los Angeles , a mass shooting at a school in Austria, Israel launching major offensive against Iranwe already been given strong glimpses into the Solstice chart, and with so many planets sitting in unstable early degrees of signs, we can expect these types of convulsions for the rest of the year as the new configuration starts to take a more stable form when Uranus moves into Gemini in April 2026, the final card of the great planetary shifts.
Jun 15  Mars square Uranus
June 15 – Jupiter square Saturn (3 of 3)
June 19 – Jupiter square Neptune (1 of 1)

1- Pluto, Saturn/Neptune Uranus tight Minor Grand Trine Magic Triangle

A period of potential revolution, innovation and reform in socio-political structures focused on the environment and finance (Pluto trine Uranus). Deep psychological insight facilitating spiritual progress, idealistic values (Neptune sextile Pluto) and spiritual awakening (Neptune sextile Pluto) with an aptitude for realistic analysis (Mercury trine Saturn). Saturn conjunct Neptune can bring some inhibiting factors into these progressive impulses. with anxiety caused by clinging to dissolving structures (or also an impulse for sacrifice) (Saturn conjunct Neptune) but also a certain conservative, stability (Saturn sextile Pluto) among amidst the revolutionary fervor and financial optimism (Saturn sextile Uranus).

2-Moon Mars Sun/Jupiter tight Minor Grand Trine

Strong sense of well-being, optimism(Sun conjunct Jupiter) , assertiveness (Moon trine Mars), enthusiasm, sociability (Mars sextile Jupiter), with a stable, positive, emotional outlook (Moon sextile Sun ) with an ability to take action efficiently and vigorously (Sun sextile Mars.), in a balanced fashion (Moon sextile Jupiter) especially in family and home environments and situations.

3- Jupiter/Sun square Saturn/Neptune
With Sun conjunct Jupiter and Saturn conjunct Neptune, the Jupiter-Saturn square will have added intensity as it marks the completion of the first quarter of the twenty-year Jupiter-Saturn cycle. It can be considered a kind of speed bump, a reality check to see if one's enthusiastic dreams and projects are evolving along realistic lines.
There will be added confidence and motivation (Sun conjunct Jupiter) but it could prove difficult to untangle organizational and relational problems. There could be some disorganization and disorientation (Sun square Neptune) with a tension between family and home issues versus the need to act on social values and ideals.
'Religions or spiritual delusions are another danger of this transit. You may be tempted to run after false messiahs or teachers whose ability to dazzle with spiritual phrases exceeds their ability to teach you how to cope with your life." (Robert Hand, Planets in Transit, 302-303)

4- Mars, Uranus, Moon, Pluto, Mercury squares
The frustration and depression feelings could get more volatile with powerful Mars in Scorpio square Uranus in Taurus  (exact on June 15, in orb until July 10) and this volatile energy will remain present with Mars opposite Saturn August 8 and Mars square Pluto, September 24)  with some impulsive, surprising possibilities, related to financial and environment themes. There can be added emotional tenor that can bring a crisis, suspicion and obsessive ruminations, wanting to dig deeply for controversial information for reform purposes (Moon in Taurus square Pluto in Aquarius). There can be misleading communication tendencies, with a reluctance to express what one feels, often related to family situations and relations (Moon square Mercury in Cancer).

Analysis
When Uranus enters Gemini in April 2026 we will have entered into an exceptional year of positive aspects. Before that Jupiter square Saturn and the general instability is placing speed bumps that allow to process the big changes that are coming. It's a time to lay aside old things that one has outgrown. There can be a lot of convulsions, conflicts as old systems struggle to resist the energies of change, with the Jupiter-Saturn square, ending the first quarter of the 20-year Jupiter-Saturn cycle, that creates tensions between optimism and pessimism, depression and over-confidence as the first of the cycle adjusts to move into the next five-year phase, the most positive of the 20-year cycle. There is a tension between the desire to face pressing socio-political economic challenges (Mars square Uranus, Saturn, Neptune in Aries) and just stay home and relax in pleasant surroundings (Sun, Mercury, Jupiter in Cancer, Moon, Venus in Taurus).

Prognostic
A feeling of positive , progressive, idealisict and deep spiritual reform begins to coalesce and this is accompanied by a heartfelt feeling of optimism, confidence, with an energetic, proactive attitude. Things can get disorganized, but we can express things clearly. These energies can help bolster us as we face some accompanying adjusting backlash in a reactionary process that can test our resolve and challenge our beliefs  and ideals. There can be a dissolving process that sees old structures fading out and there can be deluded, deceptive, confused feelings accompanied by despondency and anxiety. More volatile conflicts and accidents can occur in more extreme situations were things really break down. There can also be some obsessive tendencies with a desire for deep investigations as well as misleading communications related to blocked and repressed emotions.

This has to do with feelings, making the things you feel and care about a reality.
Nurturing is in focus. Our attention turns to our nest–our families, homes, and anything that makes us feel “at home,” safe, and secure.
Moon in Taurus While the Moon is in Taurus, people can be emotionally constant but inflexible. It's a time of stronger focus on personal needs and comfort levels, and a period of more common sense and attention to practical matters.
Mercury in Cance(June 8-26) We have less interest in what is universal and more interest in what affects us personally and the people close to us. Our thoughts are colored by our emotions, making it more challenging to be objective.
Venus in Taurus (June 6-July 4) In Taurus, Venus is naturally very sensual, content, and possessive. We seek security and value those things that are long-lasting. Our appetite for pleasure is strong.  With art, tastes, and pleasures, we prefer things that are earthy, natural, and grounded. We can be somewhat indulgent at this time.
Mars in Virgo (June 17-August 6)  passion for details, a need to do just the right thing at just the right time, and a burning desire to have a place for everything and everything in its place.
    Jupiter in Cancer
Self care, security, setting down roots, establishing your ties with the past; often a sign of growth in all things connected with family and property.
Saturn in Aries You are resourceful, and capable of applying new methods in a practical manner. Your lessons are in patience and self-reliance.
Uranus in Taurus We approach money and personal possessions in new ways and learn how to free ourselves from certain material constraints.
Neptune in Aries the potential to be spiritual pioneers. They take risks in exploring the mystical realms. This generation may also boast many pioneers in the arts.
Pluto in Aquarius Reform, revolution, a rejection of the past and a focus on the future. People in this generation have the ability to make scientific breakthroughs for the benefit of humanity, and may be forced to change the way science is viewed.

Astrology: Summer Solstice, June 20, 2025- Part 1 - Review

For the Spring prognostic we had:
This very powerful Spring chart signals a deep sense of introspective, intuitive, innovative, spiritual change with a practical drive to realize your dreams in a sociable, insightful, articulate, friendly, creative atmosphere.
However, as this dynamic energy prefigures the energy of powerful planetary changes and paradigm shifts, there can be expected  moments of volatility, uncertainty, and confusion, with insecurities based on needs for freedom and independence, bringing dramatic conflicts and accidents. There can also be times of dreamy, scattered, deluded moments of exaggerated optimistic enthusiasms. There are also possibilities of communication mishaps and old relationship issues re-surfacing.

Astrology: Saturn conjunct Neptune (July 4, 2025) February 20, 2026

    A new 36-year cycle since 1989 and prior to that 1952/3, 1917, 1882, 1846, 1809, 1773.
It becomes exact on 20th February 2026. This year the planets enter an 8-degree orb on 3rd March and get incredibly close to exact in the summer, reaching 12 minutes from exact on 15th July 2025 at 1–2° Aries. They remain close for the rest of the year and into 2026 and the entire transit lasts until February 2027.
Both planets go back into Pisces after their first close conjunction in July 2025 so anything you start before then might need to be revisited or changed in some way. The new beginning will come at the exact alignment in February 2026 once they’ve both settled into Aries

People or systems we once adored may reveal their flaws, and it can be dramatic. Ideas and ideals we once fully accepted may no longer work for us. In a general way, we can see more of previously idolized people, attitudes, themes, and systems fall off their pedestals. The main dangers with Saturn in Aries and its chumminess with Neptune is the tendency to dig in our heels and resist change, or on the opposite end, strike things down too broadly and without forethought. However, the best use of this influence is to recognize the need to mature. We should avoid clinging too tightly to ideas and dreams just because they seemed to work for us in the past.

There will be some starkness, longing, and discontent to manage during this maturation process. These feelings can deplete our energy. However, it’s a time to pick up ourselves up and rebuild better, more relevant, and more mature or realistic plans and goals. Wallowing a little may even help motivate us to get it together and fix things.  Saturn holds a mirror to our bad habits, and it can feel stark, but Neptune does something similar in a more indirect way: Neptune breaks down barriers that are too rigid. It can feel stark, disillusioning, and even unfair at the outset, but as we go along, we begin to see the benefits of taking better care of ourselves, our routines, and our bodies.

This roughly yearlong influence happens every 36 years to everybody, but some cultures experience it more strongly than others, and so do you if you are among such a culture. Being a confluence of fairly inimical principles, it outwardly manifests itself as decay and collapse, along with fertile possibilities for a new order to eventually manifest, since it is also a triple Jupiter cycle. The collapse of the Soviet Union is a case in point. On a higher plane, it can be the time when spiritual aspirations touch ground or, conversely, hit the ground. It’s not something to hang your hat on, but it can teach that the loftiest ideals must produce or perish, while from something rotten, the best crops grow.

Saturn conjunct Neptune transit is generally associated with insecurity, confusion, self-doubt, and guilt. This can be depressing, but it does not have to be. This can be a satisfying time if you are secure in your limitations and have been responsible, honest, and fair in your dealings. Your dreams and hopes may begin to materialize, and you can find true spiritual contentment without relying on material needs.

What you thought were safe and secure relationships, possessions, employment or general structures and patterns in your life may dissolve away, leaving you feeling anxious and depressed. In its higher manifestation, this transit allows you to make sacrifices and do without something to do good. You can help others or reach a particular goal. In the lower manifestation, a gift would be forced upon you to teach you a lesson about responsibility.

Whatever the case, this is a severe phase of life, and you will tend to see the worst and not the best in everything. Pessimism can get out of control; you should do your best to avoid this. Negativity must be avoided because Saturn can materialize Neptune’s illusions or delusions. It is essential to look after your health; now is a good time for a general check-up with your doctor.

Astrology: Jupiter square Neptune, June 18, 2025

Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon (Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Neptune)

    Enters 21 May 2025 3:48:45 am (EST +5:00)
[Jupiter square Neptune] Is Exact 18 Jun 2025 10:15:30 pm (EST +5:00)
    Leaves 11 Jul 2025 3:37:27 am (EST +5:00)

With Jupiter forming a square to Neptune, we may be misled easily–by others or by our own unrealistic or inflated expectations. An inability to focus on important and realistic details, some disorganization, and extravagance or exaggeration is indicated. Routine seems to be particularly unsatisfying now. This is a time when we easily take a detour from a practical path. It can also be a time when we are disillusioned by something (or someone).

We need to watch carefully for a tendency to evade and avoid things, as well as for writing ourselves new beliefs or philosophies that justify this avoidance. There can be a lot of wandering, meandering,  and lack of groundedness happening with this influence. We might have troubles setting boundaries for ourselves. There is a need to come down to earth from time to time. Some routines, discipline, regularity, and rhythms should be enforced to counteract this tendency. Spiritual inspiration is a potential, however, as we shed false beliefs, expectations, and paths.

Jupiter square Neptune transit can cause overindulgence, excess, immorality, lack of discrimination, impractical idealism, over-optimism, fantasies, and escapism. You may become too trusting and generous or over-idealize a romantic interest. A test of faith is possible because of delusion, deception, embarrassment, loss or disappointment. It is essential to cut your losses as soon as the reality of the situation shatters your illusion.

Your resources may not be as secure as you thought they were. You should avoid gambling, conspiracy theories, drugs, gurus, cults, and get-rich-quick schemes. You may have good reason to be suspicious or paranoid, but it’s best to focus on being cautious, sensible, realistic, and responsible. Rely on common sense, moderation, humility and the advice of trusted friends and family.

    According to Robert Hand:
At this time you will work very hard to actualize your ideals and find a concrete way to put your spiritual views into practice in the real world. But you ca expect the real world to put up some resistance to your ideas. Among other things, you will be challenged to demonstrate that your ideals are not just irrelevant, impractical abstractions. You will also have to demonstrate that your views are based on realism rather than some dream world, which is where you may very well be now.

Religions or spiritual delusions are another danger of this transit. You may be tempted to run after false messiahs or teachers whose ability to dazzle with spiritual phrases exceeds their ability to teach you how to cope with your life. (Planets in Transit, 302-303)
