In many ways, this transit signals the beginning of the magic triangle, although it won't begin to stabilize until the latter half of next year. Gemini gives it a communications and social accent, with Aries adding a bold, pro-active energy. 

Uranus, at 1° Gemini 26′, forms a sextile with Neptune, at 1° Aries 26′ on August 28, 2025. This is the first of five in this set (as with many outer-planet transits, this aspect repeats multiple times over the course of many months).

When Uranus and Neptune connect, we want to shake up the status quo. We can be visionary and inspired... we’re seeking (and finding) illumination. It’s a time of more openness to alternative ways of living, believing, and expression. We’re receptive to different or unusual experiences and ideas.

At the same time, we’re averse to any form of force-feeding spirituality or belief systems, preferring our freedom to follow our intuition. It’s a time to reform and update how we express compassion, care for the underprivileged, pursue our dreams, seek escapes, and do art and creativity. However, we can also be more sensitive to stimulants.

Note that this aspect occurs very infrequently, and when it does, it usually occurs in sets of three or more due to retrograde motion. For example, it occurred in 1966-1968, first forming exactly in September 1966, then again in January 1967, July 1967, April 1968, and May 1968.

In 2025-2027, Uranus forms a sextile to Neptune in August 2025, November 2025, July 2026, January 2027, and finally, June 2027. Effectively, it’s in play from August 2025 to June 2027.

Uranus sextile Neptune transit represents spiritual awakening. You may begin to seek answers to philosophical questions that traditional religion or even science cannot explain. You may become more concerned about the future and humanity in general. In particular, you may wish to gain a deeper understanding of how you are connected to others at the mass-conscious level.

The answers to your questions are more likely to come through dreams, flashes of insight, and interaction with groups of like-minded people rather than through formal studies. It is common during this transit to become involved in occult, metaphysical, environmental, or humanitarian groups.

This is an excellent time to invent and create, especially if you have been blocked, experiencing a creative block, or feel that your life has stagnated. The changes in your life now lead to a greater sense of oneness with others and the universe.
